Who I am

I operate TDEW Solutions and I am responsible for the personal information collected and used when you book to attend an event I am hosting.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, I am the data controller for this information.

Information I collect

When you book to attend an event I am hosting through TDEW Solutions, the personal information you provide is limited to:

• your name;
• your email address; and
• your mobile number.

This information is provided directly by you when you book to attend the event.

How I use your information

I use your information only for the purposes of administering the event you have booked to attend.

I use your details to:

• record and manage your booking to attend the event;
• send you an email confirming your booking;
• send you a reminder closer to the date of the event; and
• contact you where reasonably necessary about the event you have booked to attend.

I do not use the information you provide when booking to attend the event for marketing purposes.

Booking to attend an event I am hosting does not add you to a marketing or mailing list.

My lawful basis for using your information

My lawful basis for processing your name, email address and mobile number for these purposes is legitimate interests.

My legitimate interest is the administration and management of the event you have booked to attend, including recording your booking, confirming your place, sending you an event reminder and communicating with you where necessary about the event.

I only use the information for these purposes and do not use the information you provide when booking to attend the event for unrelated purposes or marketing.

Sharing your information

I do not sell your personal information or share it with other organisations or individuals for their own purposes.

I will only disclose your personal information where I am required to do so by law.

Where a service provider processes information on my behalf solely to provide the systems or services necessary to operate the booking or communication service, they are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

How I protect your information

I have appropriate technical and organisational security measures in place to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.

Access to personal information collected when you book to attend an event I am hosting is restricted and is only available where necessary for me to administer your booking and the event.

For security reasons, I do not publish details of the specific technical or security measures used to protect my systems.

How long I keep your information

I keep your personal information only for as long as it is required to administer the event.

Your personal information will be securely deleted or anonymised within 90 days after the event has taken place.

Once information has been anonymised, it can no longer be used to identify you.

Cancelling your attendance and deleting your details

You are not obliged to attend the event simply because you have made a booking.

If you later decide that you no longer wish to attend, you can cancel your booking using the cancellation link provided in:

• your initial booking confirmation email; or
• the reminder email sent to you closer to the event.

When you use the cancellation link, your booking will be cancelled and the personal information associated with your booking will be securely deleted from my active systems or anonymised so that you can no longer be identified from any information retained.

Your right to access your information

You may contact me at any time to request a copy of the personal information I hold about you in connection with your booking to attend an event I am hosting.

The personal information available to me is limited to the information you supplied when booking to attend the event: your name, email address and mobile number.

If you would like a copy of your information, or believe that any information I hold is incorrect, please contact me at tom@tdewsolutions.com.

For security and data protection purposes, I may need to take reasonable steps to confirm your identity before providing personal information in response to a request.

Your other data protection rights

Under UK data protection law, you have rights relating to your personal information.

Depending on the circumstances, these include the right to:

• request access to your personal information;
• ask me to correct inaccurate personal information;
• ask me to delete your personal information;
• ask me to restrict the way your personal information is used; and
• object to the processing of your personal information.

Your right to object

Because I rely on legitimate interests as the lawful basis for processing the information you provide when booking to attend the event, you have the right to object to this processing in certain circumstances.

You can also cancel your booking to attend the event at any time using the cancellation link contained in your confirmation or reminder email.

Providing your information

Providing your name, email address and mobile number is necessary for me to administer your booking to attend the event.

If you do not provide the information requested, I will not be able to register your booking to attend the event or send you confirmation and information relating to it.

Automated decision-making

I do not use the information you provide when booking to attend an event I am hosting for automated decision-making or profiling.
