Accessibility Statement

1. My commitment to accessibility

I want the TDEW Solutions website and online services to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including disabled people and people using assistive technologies. I take accessibility into account when designing, maintaining and updating the website and I will make reasonable adjustments where required by applicable law.

2. Legal context

TDEW Solutions is a private business and is not presenting this statement as a statement issued under the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018. However, service providers in Great Britain have duties under the Equality Act 2010, including duties relating to disability discrimination and reasonable adjustments. I therefore aim to provide my website and services in an accessible way and to respond reasonably where a disabled person encounters an accessibility barrier.

3. Accessibility standard

I use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as the principal technical accessibility standard for this website and aim to meet Level AA requirements where applicable to the website and services I provide.

4. Accessibility testing

The website has been tested using Google Lighthouse accessibility testing. At the time of the most recent test reported to me, the website achieved a Lighthouse Accessibility score of 100/100.

5. What I have designed the website to support

I aim for the website to support common accessibility needs, including:

• clear headings and logical page structure;
• keyboard navigation for interactive controls;
• visible keyboard focus where controls receive focus;
• usable text resizing and browser zoom;
• responsive layouts across different screen sizes;
• descriptive page titles and labels;
• alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate;
• sufficient colour contrast for text and important interface elements;
• links that are identifiable as links and make sense in context;
• form labels, instructions and error information where forms are used;
• avoiding reliance on colour alone to communicate important information; and
• content written as clearly and consistently as reasonably possible.

6. Keyboard access

I aim to ensure that essential website functions can be reached and operated using a keyboard without requiring a mouse or touchscreen. If you find a control, menu, form or other function that cannot reasonably be used by keyboard, please contact me using the details below.

7. Zoom, text size and reflow

The website is designed to work with normal browser zoom and text-enlargement features. Layouts are intended to reflow on smaller screens and at increased zoom levels without making essential content unavailable. Some third-party interfaces or browser-specific behaviour may operate differently from the main TDEW Solutions pages.

8. Images, documents and media

Meaningful images should have suitable alternative text where appropriate. Decorative images may intentionally use empty alternative text so that they are ignored by screen readers. If I publish a document, image or other resource that you cannot access in its current format, please contact me and I will consider a reasonable accessible alternative.

9. Forms and online services

I aim to provide clear labels, instructions and error messages on forms and customer workflows. Where identity, authentication or security controls are required, I will balance accessibility with the need to protect customer accounts, personal information and infrastructure. If an accessibility barrier prevents you from completing a form or using a secure online process, contact me and I will consider an appropriate alternative method that maintains necessary security.

10. Third-party content and services

Some website functions may rely on third-party services, software, browsers, payment or banking systems, maps, communications platforms, hosting systems or other external technology that I do not fully control. I will take reasonable steps when selecting and configuring third-party services, but I cannot guarantee the accessibility of an independent third party's own website or service.

11. Known accessibility problems

I am not currently aware of a material accessibility problem on the TDEW Solutions website that prevents normal access to the main content and services. This statement does not mean that every possible combination of browser, device and assistive technology has been tested or that no accessibility issue can arise.

12. Reporting an accessibility problem

If you have difficulty accessing any part of the TDEW Solutions website, please tell me what page or feature caused the problem, what you were trying to do and, if you are comfortable doing so, the browser, device or assistive technology you were using. This information can help me investigate the issue.

I will review this Accessibility Statement when significant changes are made to the website, when material accessibility issues are identified, or when a change in applicable law or recognised accessibility standards makes a review appropriate.
